Parents appreciate the real life lessons of The Real Game Series and the resulting improvement in communication with and understanding from their children.
I was particularly impressed by the budget exercise, because not only is that math, I mean basic math, but that's also life choices.
Also, it can serve as an inspiration for higher learning, so, hey this math stuff is pretty cool because, now I understand where I can use it. Or, my interpersonal skill development, the fact that I can stand in front of a group and talk, hey, this is cool
He became engaged because it made him dig a little deeper into "Is this really what I want to do?" and "What does it take to get there?" I remember talking with him about how much education...you know, you want to be a therapist...it's at least a master's degree, you know, and he says "What's that?" and "How long does that take?"

I wish that I would have had something like this presented to me at a younger age because I think it gives her some tools and some foresight into what she can expect down the road

This is life, this is what happens when you become a grown up and she even told me she goes "Mom, I didn't know it was so hard to be a grown up" You know, this is life stuff.
She realized that you just don't go out to the backyard and pick the money off the tree, you know, you have to work really really hard, so, I just thought that was the greatest thing I ever heard.
